Our story
Atelier Horneman was founded in 2010 by the artists Martin Horneman and Stefanie Ottens. Despite being so young, the business has built a national reputation and delivers frames in all of the Netherlands to companies, museums, various artists and the general public. The frame shop is located in Groningen in the neighbourhood Lewenborg and is easily reached and has plenty of parking space.
Art pieces, pictures mirrors and other items are expertly custom framed by our certified framer. In the frame shop you can choose between thousands of frames. Apart from that, Atelier Horneman sells standard aluminium frames and hanging systems.

Winner of the national framing contest
Atelier Horneman has won prizes two years in a row at the framing contest of the trade association Art-Frame. Both times Atelier Horneman won the second expert jury prize in the category 3d framing. The first time the assignment was to frame an antique too and the second time a souvenir. Atelier Horneman has not competed more than twice, as they were members of the expert jury themselves the third time.
